Emerge Church Jax is a new ministry in Jacksonville, FL. We are just a few months old and . We are looking for an keyboardist that is open to playing Contemporary worship and gospel. We are a new ministry and are looking to grow our worship team. A Stipend will be provided each Sunday same-day.

**Job Title:** Keyboardist for Worship Team

Our worship team is passionate about music and committed to fostering an atmosphere where individuals can connect with the divine through various styles of worship, including traditional hymns, contemporary worship, and spontaneous worship flows.

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and versatile keyboardist to join our worship team. The ideal candidate is proficient in playing keyboard and is open to learning and incorporating new styles of worship, particularly spontaneous worship flows. This individual will play a vital role in enhancing our worship services and helping our congregation connect with God through music.

Our services are usually under two hours.

Service start time: 1:30pm

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the worship team to create dynamic and engaging worship experiences.

- Attend weekly rehearsals to practice and refine musical arrangements.

- Play keyboard during worship services, including modern gospel, contemporary songs, and spontaneous worship flows.

- Work closely with the worship leader to ensure smooth transitions between songs and create a cohesive musical atmosphere.

- Maintain a professional demeanor and promptness in all rehearsals and performances.

- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the overall worship experience.

- Foster a team-oriented environment and support fellow team members in their roles.

**Qualifications:**

- Proficient in playing keyboard with a strong understanding of music theory.

- Open to learning and incorporating new styles of worship, particularly spontaneous worship flows.

- Able to attend weekly rehearsals and consistently demonstrate promptness and professionalism.

- Ability to flow well without a particular song structure and adapt to changes on the fly.

- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Innovative mindset with a passion for creating meaningful worship experiences.

Pay:

-Paid Same day

-$100 Each Sunday

As the ministry grows the pay will be re-evaluated for increases

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
