Key Holder
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to:Store Manager
Date: 2022
Summary/Objective
The Key Holder is responsible for partnering with the Store Management team to support day-to-day operations of the store, as well as assist with product placement, provide outstanding customer service, achieve sales goals, and help manage loss prevention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Stay current on product knowledge
- Process customer sales, financial transactions, and balance daily deposits
- Ensure the highest level of customer service
- Introduce promotions and sale opportunities to customers
- Upholds a neat, clean and organized store and stockroom
- Assist in visual presentation standards and ensure the store is replenished at all times
- Maintain and enforce compliance with company handbook and Retail Operations Policy and Procedures
- Ensure the appropriate execution of merchandise handling procedures
- Assist with the protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss
- Completes all additional duties and projects as assigned
Travel
- This position requires limited travel (0-25%)
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years of Retail Sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business
- If full time, ability to work 40 hours per week. If part time ability to work minimum of 20 hours per week.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
