BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE:
The Sales Region Account Manager is to cover the Key Accounts in Baytown, Port Arthur, Beaumont, Orange and surrounding areas. Directly manage and develop the sales for specific customers for Standard Alloys Inc. They shall functions as the primary contact between this group of customers and Standard Alloys Inc. They shall develop an Annual Business Plan with specific action items, resource requirements and timelines to facilitate success within their customer base. They shall also function as an interface between Standard Alloys Inc and the KSB Service Network as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Order Intake (COI) for specific accounts.
- Customer Response Management (CRM) - currently the RFQ Portal.
- Submit completed RFQ's to facilitate timely customer quote.
- Follow up on all open quotes to close the order.
- Weekly updates on all open quotes within the RFQ Portal.
- Maximize results from COI to optimize margin for the daily business.
- Feed management with information from the market and communication between SA departments and KSB companies.
- Annual Business Plan for the specific accounts with quarterly updates.
- Field sales presentations to specific customer accounts to promote brand awareness and to influence the market place in favor of Standard Alloys Inc. and KSB.
- Attend trade show as required by management.
- OPTIONAL: Reverse engineer customer parts to facilitate RFQ.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Time management - Managing one's own time and the time required to conduct daily business while achieving strategic objectives.

- Comprehension - understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat as a minimum.

- Travel - at least 80% of the time.
- Pumps - Prior experience selling pump replacement parts, repairs and assemblies required. Ability to recognize material upgrade or hydraulic redesign opportunities and facilitate discussion with plant engineers and reliability personnel about these opportunities preferred.
- Drafting (OPTIONAL): Ability to accurately measure and draw mechanical parts utilizing AutoCAD.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required
- BBA or BS degree preferred
- 3+ years' experience preferred
- availability for overnight business travel up to 15%
