About the PositionResponsible for supporting all Key Account activities for major OEMs and channel partners by performing the following duties. Works under moderate supervision and reports to VP Sales.Jaeger-Unitek Sealing Solutions, Inc. is a 75-year global leader in advanced plastic and rubber polymer technology with a focus on extrusion of single to quad material geometries. Jaeger-Unitek engineers solutions to meet customer needs in applications in industries such as Transportation, Water Treatment, Energy, Agriculture, HVAC and White Goods.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet stated goals for new bookings, profit & loss, strategic account growth and new partnership strategy.
  • Create multi-functional teams between Jaeger-Unitek and our customers by gaining a Hall Pass while selling High and Wide through the customer/partner organization.
  • Develop new business opportunities, next generation products, address changing market trends and promote value initiatives to strengthen our business relationships.
  • Develop, grow and maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities to meet growth expectations.
  • Work with customer and Jaeger-Unitek technical/engineering groups to apply existing products or develop new products to assist customer growth in their respective market(s).
  • Actively communicates with Jaeger-Unitek manufacturing, quality and engineering departments to facilitate understanding of customer application and performance expectations.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle counting processes for finished goods
  • Provide Executive management with sales reporting and market based pricing recommendations, action plans and sales budgets.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization. Recommends new policies, approaches, and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management, and planning/organization abilities
  • Business management principles knowledge specifically strategic planning, pricing and marketing strategy development and implementation
  • Ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field
  • Experience: No previous sales experience required, however a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude is a must
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience: 3+ years Plastic Extrusion
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing
  • Industry knowledge for Heaving Truck and/or RV Industries
