SalaryBay Valley Animal Hospital, a small animal hospital, needs a Kennel Technician to provide excellent care for our clients' most treasured furbabies. We do much more than just board animals, our Animal Care Technicians provide care for post surgery patients, medical boarding pets, and we provide daycare for our clients pets that provides stimulated play time.
Previous cleaning experience in a veterinary hospital or related medical field is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Must be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, provide excellent customer service to dispel any doubt in our pet parents' minds, and have a nose for “sniffing” out problems and taking care of them independently. Must be willing to become Fear-Free certified (https://fearfreepets.com), have an outstanding range of compassion for our most challenging boarders and patients, and be able to view and treat all animals that walk through our doors as your own. Come and work with people who truly care about the physical and mental wellbeing of our furry family members and each other, while learning all about animal behaviors and how to provide tender loving care to all. This is currently a part-time position starting at 20-30 hours but has potential to turn into a full time position with business volume. Evenings/weekends/holidays are required.
