Kennel Technician

We'd like to start out with telling you a little bit more about Serenity! We opened almost 5 years ago inside All 4 Animals Rescue and work heavily in the rescue community!
We offer Doggy day play, Pet hotel and pet grooming for all animals.
Combined we have over 30 years experience in the pet care industry.
Michelle has been grooming/training/ pet care for over 25 years and is a licensed vet tech along with many other CE credit certificates under her belt- she loves to teach and continue education and encourages all her employees to do so as well.
Mike has been in the industry for over 7 years as a pet stylist, pet handler, veterinary assistant, rescue volunteer and also had many CE certificates!
We are always striving for the best safest care for all the pets we see!

At Serenity we strive for a very personalized relationship with all our pets and pet parents, we expect anyone coming into this position have a vast knowledge of animal care , great communication skills, outgoing, Bubbly , and a confident loving personality with clients and pets!
Serenity has roughly 60-100 animals come into our facility daily and safety, sanitation and comfort is key.
We are very active in all parts of our business so you will see one of us everyday helping pick up poop and making a puppy look and feel great or even working on upgrades to our building as we continue to make changes to accommodate our growing business!

This is a joint position designed for someone who can be a jack of all trades, and thrives in dabbling in a variety of responsibilities!

As an kennel tech you'll be asked to help clean up , play , snuggle love and monitor our boarding and daycare groups as well as doing general day to day cleaning throughout the facility.

Must be comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, be able to stay on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts, lift up to 40lbs, multi task , and not be scared of getting muddy, poopy ect !

You may also help out with, assisting stylists in the groom room.

We have fixed shift schedules, meaning you would work the same days and times every week.

We are a very prompt and timely crew so we ask the same of you.

As for the duties that come with being a receptionist, you would be asked to help in:

• Working the front desk and assisting customers.
• Answering phone calls and emails in a courteous manner.
• Scheduling dogs and cats for a variety of services.
• Routine cleaning throughout the facility.

The most qualified candidates will have the following characteristics:

• Professionalism (both in communicating and in personal appearance).
• You must have a positive attitude and work well with others
• Responsible, reliable, and prompt
• Eagerness to learn new skills
• Proficiency in computers, but you don't need to know specific software, as we manage the business with industry specific software.
