"Kennel Technician Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team and ensure the well-being of the animals in our care. As a Kennel Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Animal Care:
Provide attentive care to all animals in the kennel, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications as directed.
2. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
Maintain a clean and sanitized environment within the kennel facility, including daily cleaning of kennels (indoor & outdoor), play areas, and common spaces, exercise equipmen, and training facility.
3. Health Monitoring:
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, promptly reporting any concerns or unusual observations to the supervising staff.
4. Exercise and Enrichment:
Engage with animals in play and exercise activities, ensuring they receive adequate mental and physical stimulation.
5. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of each animal's health, behavior, and any special requirements, assisting in the organization and retrieval of necessary information.
6. Maintain Training:
it it imperative that every dogs training is maintained and advanced. All kennel Techs are required to following the training rules of Houndstooth Training. failure to do so will result in consequence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
