```Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality care for our furry friends.

```Responsibilities```
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in our facility
- Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment along with the hospital as a whole by sweeping/mopping florrs, wiping counters, taking out trash, washing and drying towels and blankets, monitoring trash in outsided areas including parking lot
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Walk dogs and provide exercise at least twice per day
- Can give baths and brush out patients
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
- Assist with organizing and inventory
- Ability to multi task and assist Doctors and Technicians when necessary
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working in a kennel or veterinary setting is preferred, willing to train the right candidate
- Strong animal handling skills, including the ability to safely restrain animals when necessary
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects, as some tasks may require lifting up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and compassion when working with animals, especially those who may be anxious or fearful
- Basic knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
