What we are looking for in you:
◦ An animal lover of all kinds
◦ Hardworking individual that works well with a team
◦ Willing to work in all weather conditions along with getting dirty
◦ Arriving to work on time with good time management skills. Must have your own vehicle for transportation to and from work.
◦ Availability to work weekends and holidays. All holidays are required to work one shift.
What the job would include:
◦ Ensuring the health and safety of all animals in our care.
◦ Cleaning dog and cat kennels along with pocket pet pens (which can sometimes consist of cleaning poop, urine, or vomit)
◦ Administrating playtimes for the dogs.
◦ Feeding and giving fresh water to all our boarding animals.
◦ Maintaining cleanliness standards by sweeping, mopping, etc.
◦ Bathing all size dogs.
◦ Must be comfortable with all size and breed of animals. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds, ducks, etc.
This is a split shift, morning hours are 7AM-11AM, until end of May then 7AM-12PM. Evening hours are 5PM-8:30PM/9PM. You will not be working both shifts more than 4 days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
