SalaryResponsibilities: - Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal housing areas - Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff - Assist with administering medications or treatments as directed by the veterinary team - Handle animals safely and securely during transfers, walks, or other interactions - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior observations - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trims - Provide basic customer service to pet owners, including answering questions and providing updates on their pets Experience: - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred - Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and practices - Familiarity with handling a variety of animals, including dogs and cats - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Skills: - Veterinary technician - Veterinary - Pet care - Animal care - Kennel - Customer service - Dog handling - Pet grooming - Pet sitting - Veterinary assistant Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
