SalaryWe are a very busy multi-doctor practice in Campbell. We have a close, hardworking group of dedicated team members and we are looking for someone with or without experience to join us! We are willing to train the right person - someone that is hardworking, friendly, passionate about animals, and motivated to learn.
A Kennel Assistant / entry level Veterinary Assistant is expected to restrain patients, keep the hospital clean and sanitized, do laundry, walk and feed patients, run lab work, assist with x-rays and many other diagnostic procedures, and put patients and their owners in exam rooms to collect histories for the doctors. The more tasks you master and do well, the more you will eventually be able to do.
We are looking for a full time team member with an open schedule or possibly a part time person depending on availability. On Saturday and Sunday, we are open 8-5, on weekdays we are open 8-6, so full time members get all the hours they need in a four day work week allowing for an extra day off! Occasional later nights are expected with paid OT as indicated (generally not more than an hour after closing). We offer paid holidays, though we do alternate staff members to come in to care for any hospitalized patients (with a minimum of 2 hours pay).
