Kennel Assistant

Enthusiastic Boarding Technician needed in a busy Ahwatukee Veterinary hospital. A qualified candidate must loveworking with animals and their owners, providing exceptional service is a must. The position available will be full time, 35-40 hours per week. You will be joining an awesomesmall teamof hardworking, and fun loving people.
You must be dependable,have reliable transportation, be trustworthy, have great work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, self-starter, and be a good team player.
The boarding position includes physical labor- walking and standing the majority of the day in a 10 hour shift and being able to lift at least 45lbs.General care includingfeeding, bathing, and medicating, as well as playtime and loving interaction with the dogs, cats and exotic pets staying in the boarding department will be part of your daily tasks.Attention to detail when it comes to cleaning is a must! We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facility and the outstanding compassionate care our staff provides the pets. We treat each pet as if it were our own.
Hospital hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 6:00pm. You must be able to workholidays and weekends as these are our busiest times.Experience preferred but willing to train the right person. Great benefits, compensation commensurate with experience and quarterly bonuses.
