We are seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good organization skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals
Eastside Veterinary Hospital is a family owned, 2-veterinarian small animal practice located on the east side of Savannah, near downtown. We have boarding facilities for cats and dogs. Unique to our facility are outdoor runs and a large courtyard for social interaction for the dogs in nice weather. We also provide general wellness exams and treatment, laser therapy, spays and neuters and a wide range of surgeries.
