Heritage Industries, a leader in the work truck and equipment industry, is currently seeking a Truck Specialist I. Responsibilities of this role include service repairs and maintenance of client equipment. Work will be performed both in a shop atmosphere as well as the field.
Job Description:
- Must understand and adhere to the personal responsibility of safety, and work safely at all times. Adhere to all company safety programs and policies.
- Ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures on various white iron in the mining industry, service trucks, cranes, lube trucks, lube skids, auxiliary power units, and other equipment as needed.
- Perform necessary maintenance and repairs on equipment. Components to be repaired will consist of: Hydraulic systems, fueling systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems. Maintenance and adjustments on large and small engines as required.
- Take ownership of client problems and provide solutions. Must consistently deliver a world class customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Must utilize TRACK and work safely at all times.
- Positive attitude.
- Must have your own hand tools.
- Current Utah driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation Medical Card and qualify to operate company vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills through internal training modules.
- High School diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements include steel or composite toe safety footwear. Other PPE will be provided as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year degree from accredited college or trade school.
- Previous experience within work truck industry, automotive, and/or truck equipment service and repairs.
- CDL endorsement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
