Kaprikorn is a thriving commercial cannabis nursery and indoor flower producer, and we are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our close-knit team of 30. To be considered for this position follow the instructions in the"how to apply" section.

Position: Nursery Worker

Our Greenhouse Staff plays an essential role in maintaining the health of our mother plants! This person will work in our greenhouse 5 days a week. Shifts are 7:00am-3:30pm.

Both women and men are encouraged to apply! Previous grow experience is a plus but not required. If you have great attention to detail, take direction well and are hard working then you might be right for this position.

Greenhouse Responsibilities:

• watering plants
• physically moving heavy plants/bags of soil
• pruning
• transplanting plants
• pesticide applications
• cleaning

Note: wildfires are common in Oregon in the summer. Be aware this position will require working in smokey conditions in accordance with OSHA standards. In some cases that means workers must wear a respirator while working.

Other Duties May Include:

• Assist with tasks at our grow locations, including cleaning, joint rolling, pruning, up-potting, trimming, and harvesting.
• cutting and processing clones
• deliveries
• working on the outdoor grow

Requirements:

• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience with plants is beneficial
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• 21 years old or older and eligible for an OLCC worker permit

• $15-$20 per hour, long term employees make up to $25/hr
