What You'll Do:

 

  • Researches, plans, trains, executes, and facilitates operational improvement programs to create a culture of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing that leads to associate empowerment, elimination of waste, and key result area improvement (safety, quality, service, and cost) 
  • Lead change management process across the plant 
  • Lead continuous improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation and project management. 
  • Use Lean manufacturing tools (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Gemba walks, root cause problem solving) to identify and develop solutions that drive operational improvement. 
  • Provide leadership by mentoring associates in the use of Lean tools, ensuring transfer of knowledge and creating a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedures, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations on improvements to operational leaders. 
  • Facilitate the development of A3 project plans so all aspects of the project scope are properly managed. 
  • Track, monitor, and report regularly on project status; monitor product and process improvement milestones to ensure on-time completion and sustainability. 
  • Analyze, develop, ratify, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across the network. 
  • Contribute to plant success by establish collaborative relationship with local plant management. 
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to facilitate teams and influence direction. 
  • Able to learn and apply Lean concepts and tools (5S, value stream mapping, visual workplace, flow and pull manufacturing, etc.) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Willing to invest time and energy in continuous learning of Lean principles and tools. 
  • Team player; strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Able to lead/facilitate kaizen events. 
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • 3 - 5years experiencein operational analysis and continuous improvement implementation inaLeanmanufacturing environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation - 

$80k - $100k
