As PPS prepares to select a new K-12 Digital Intervention for Math, it is necessary that PPS uses a process that ensures the Digital Interventions are of high quality and aligned to math content standards. There will be an opportunity for up to 38 K-5, 6-8 and 9-12 Math teachers, PSE educators, ESL Educators, Academic Coaches, and Curriculum and Assessment Specialists to serve on a committee to select a new K-12 Digital Interventions for Math. The committee will meet during the months of April and May (dates below). Selected teachers will be compensated at workshop rate for committee hours. Interested teachers must hold a certificate in one or more of the following: Elementary, Mid-Level Math, Secondary Math, ESL and/or PSE and be able to participate in committee meetings, including publishers' presentations of materials. Teachers must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
