Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients and assist with medical exams, procedures, treatments, and patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the attending physician
- Observe patients and record symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition
- Assist with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting etc.
- Communicate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure continuity and coordination of care
Skills Required:
- Current LVN/LPN license in good standing
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Compassionate bedside manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year of clinical experience as an LVN
- Passion for working in the juvenile correctional environment
- Valid LVN License in the State of Texas
