Juvenile Detention Worker - Part Time, Flexible Schedule

West Central Regional Juvenile Center is currently hiring for Juvenile Detention Worker Positions. You would work directly with youth involved in the Juvenile Justice and Social Services systems. Opportunities for training on Cognitive Behavioral Programming and Evidence-Based Practices that are active in your communities. Working with Law Enforcement, Social Services, Probation, and the Courts to help ensure the youth placed at WCRJC receive services in a safe and secure setting.

Duties include;

• Supervision of youth in secure and non-secure settings.
• Facilitating or assisting in groups.
• Providing safe and secure transportation to and from court hearings and appointments.

Minimum Requirements include;

• High school diploma
• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 Years of age
• Enrolled in a college or certificate program - OR - Related Experience working with people (Coach, CNS, Teacher, After School Programs, Humanities related profession).
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.62 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
