Large well established fund seeks a Junior Trader. The position is based in NYC reporting into the Head Trader supporting many different asset classes across various regions. This role requires 2 to 6 years of professional work experience with knowledge of equity, equity derivative, and swaps preferred. The ideal candidate will have a general sense for risk management and a deep curiosity for how to manage that risk. Candidates must have a strong academic background and some experience with securities trading; Experience with equities, equity derivatives and swaps required; Experience with trading and booking systems ; High technical proficiency and light programming skills are a plus.
