Help Desk Technician
100% working in the office (Billerica area) and 25% US travel to customer's facility
US Citizenship is required

Contact-to-hire arrangement already in place
You will design, implement and tests scripting procedures to support multiple customer deployment teams.
The duties: You will work with senior engineers and the customer to determine installation script requirements. Develops and tests scripts to deploy custom software solutions that are given to deployment teams to use. Helps to develop necessary documentation and also provides a first level of support for field engineers who are on-site doing the actual deployments.
- Will also be responsible for helping to manage hardware setup and configuration in on-site QA Lab.
Your responsibilities:
- Learn how to install software to meet customer specific requirements
- Develop batch files and scripts needed for deployment teams to deploy software
- Build and Manage system images for hardware
- Assist in managing hardware receiving and setup in test lab
- Work with deployment teams to overcome challenges associates with deployment scripts
Qualifications:
- 3 years Windows 10/11 Administration
- 2 years working with Windows batch files
- 1 year working with Linux
- 1 year working with Powershell
- 1 year working with client / server applications
- 1 year working with any hard drive imaging software
- Experience in working with hardware of different PC form factors (desktops, laptops, tablets) and peripheral devices (scanners, printers, etc.)
- Solid understanding of basic infrastructure components ( AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP )
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel\
- Working with text editor

- Troubleshooting Application Connectivity issues
- Excellent Customer oriented communication skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment with in-person or remote team members
- Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Needs to be comfortable reaching out assistance
- Needs to be able to remain positive even though he may not have all the answers
- Must be able to pass background checks for multiple states
- Needs to be able to work flexible hours as deployments require - Ability to lift 50 lbs. moving computer equipment
- Ability to work in the office full-time (MA)
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
