DirectViz Solutions, (DVS) is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission needs for government clients. We are hiring a junior Systems Administrator. This position is part of a team that provides constructive simulations to Army units training at the Mission Training Complex. The work location will be on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This position requires an Interim Secret clearance.
Jr. Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing system management and system administration for a specific system supporting a computing federation that makes up the military simulations system - Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC).
- Participates in the upgrading of operating system.
- Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems.
- Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves operating/hardware system problems.
- Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
Certification or certification of training (within 6 months) in a Computing Environment required to meet DoD Approved RMF Baseline Certifications.
Education: College degree preferred
Certification: A+ or Network+ or Sec+ required
Experience: 2-4+ years of experience preferred
