Principal Objective of Position: Junior Systems Administrator will support in maintaining and
optimizing our organization's computer systems, networks, and servers. Your role plays a crucial
role in enhancing the efficiency, security, and dependability of HGPS systems. As a Junior Systems

Education/Training
• Microsoft 365 Administrator Certification
Experience/Skills
• With at least one (1) year of experience as an IT support or Systems Administrator
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of system and network security principles.
Special Requirements
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic IT environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions for the Junior Systems Administrator
System Maintenance and Support:
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, operating
systems, and software applications.
• Provide support to end-users, promptly addressing and resolving hardware and
software issues.
Network Assistance:
• Collaborate with the IT team to configure and maintain network devices.
• Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and contribute to the
implementation of solutions.
Security Implementation:
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security measures, including
firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Adhere to and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the
company's digital assets.
Backup and Recovery Participation:
• Participate in the development and testing of backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor and ensure the integrity and availability of data through regular checks.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations,
procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities within the team to enhance
collective expertise.
Collaboration with Senior Team Members:
• Collaborate with senior system administrators to address complex issues and
implement new technologies.
• Support IT projects and initiatives by contributing to the planning and execution
phases.
Monitoring and Response:
• Monitor system performance, responding to alerts and incidents promptly.
• Work towards proactive identification and resolution of potential issues to ensure
system reliability.
