Junior Store Designer

This job focuses on planning and designing functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces across all locations. They will be responsible for assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to the relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements. Models and acts by 7 Leaves Cafe's guiding principles.

This position will require traveling to all the Southern California stores, coordinating with a variety of disciplines within the company, and providing design as well as construction execution support.

A typical week in this position will involve visiting existing stores, identifying elements that do not align with our 7 Leaves brand, and proactively coming up with a plan to resolve these items and elevate the Customer's experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Traveling and possible Commute to individual locations/stores.
• On Field assessment of existing store layouts, flow, and brand experience.
• Setting up store presentations, including merchandising and promotional displays.
• Utilize AutoCad, Google Slides, and Sketch-Up to develop and present innovative design solutions that align with brand identity and operational needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, construction) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage project costs and timelines, providing accurate estimates and adhering to budget constraints.
• Coordinate the installation of design elements and furniture, ensuring quality and adherence to plans..
• Utilize 3D design software to create realistic renderings and presentations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Design Skills: Proven ability to develop creative and functional store layouts, utilizing design principles and software.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with CAD drafting, 3D visualization tools, and presentation software like Google Slides.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving.
• Teamwork: Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent Work: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
