Junior Software Engineer

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis, a rapidly growing small company in Huntsville, AL, is currently seeking a Junior Software Engineer.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining various software components in support of Aviation Hardware-in-the-Loop laboratories.
• Identify and solve challenging problems by writing performant, efficient, practical, and well documented code following applicable coding standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• US Citizenship required
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline
• 0-3 years of experience
• Active secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain
• Experience with C, C++ software development languages/environments
• Knowledge of Software development life cycle

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:

• Experience and knowledge with Agile software development processes
• Experience with Linux OS and Linux scripting
