EP&Co. is looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with a passion for video content whose comfortable working with numbers. The Junior Research Analyst's efforts will focus within the cross-platform advertising sales group but will also support the research team and other departments within the company. This position is ideal for someone beginning a career in the advertising world of content programming, sales, and distribution. You will work directly with these internal teams to manage and report on client revenue. This person prepares various financial analyses and works with client facing teams to create and analyze staffing plans. Works with Account Management leadership to report on resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and provide input to all aspects of the research function including: Project /sample specifications, methodology/study design, survey/discussion guide/stimuli design, field/vendor management, moderator briefings, timelines, analysis, reporting and presentation of results.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams to understand business issues, develop efficient research designs, execute research studies and develop insights that drive business growth.
- Write, analyze and summarize research findings while participating in strategic client recommendations.
- Manage qualitative research process including monitoring recruitment, guide/stimuli development and exposure, client needs at research facilities, debrief, analysis, etc.
- Ability to stay abreast with state-of-the-art research methodology (within the quantitative and qualitative market research practice area) with a goal of providing our clients with the most innovative research solutions to business issues. This also includes attending relevant research conferences.
- Select and manage vendors (timelines/budgets) as they execute research studies.
- Write messages - email or other messages that are provided to clients.
Requirements - Qualified candidates will possess the skills detailed below and relevant work experience:
- 1-2 years market research or agency research experience.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative market research techniques/methods/design and industry practices.
- Background in advertising or equivalent field that demonstrates skills in both quantitative and qualitative research.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets to identify insights.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively (i.e., work on multiple market research projects with competing deadlines).
- Proven contributor in the development and implementation of new quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas succinctly.
- Ability to collaborate and work with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Bachelor's degree in research, business, psychology or related field.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
