Junior Project Estimator

We are seeking a qualified Commercial Construction Junior Project Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate commercial construction projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $20,000,000.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Communicate with architects, owner, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Process and tracking RFI’s.
• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
• Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years’ experience required.
• Must have full comprehension of both architectural and civil design drawings.
• Proficient with computers, tablets and smart phones, including typing skills.
• Willingness to work necessary hours to ensure all project estimating needs are being met.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.
• Exceptional time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
