The Role in Brief:

Junior Producer, YouVisit Studios

This role assists the Studios Director and other producers in coordinating pre-production, production, and post-production tasks for virtual tour implementation. Junior Producers work directly with the Studios Director and the Project Management team, capture crews, and partners to ensure successful capture and delivery of all virtual tour content. Ideal candidates have a broad skillset and enjoy being able to contribute to our partners’ success strategically, creatively, and technically. This position is part of the creative department, and includes being part of a creative team, providing feedback to partners, project managers, and writers to ensure projects reflect our partners brand and enrollment goals. Experience in screenwriting and creative oversight of media projects is highly desired.

This role reports to the Director, Studios and is open to remote candidates in the continental United States.

This role requires travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Studios Director in providing creative oversight for virtual tour projects from pre-production, through production and post-production for virtual tour projects
  • Coordinate with pre-production team (Project Management + Creative Strategy) and onsite capture crews to ensure successful delivery of every purchased good and service
  • Attend pre-production meetings, and ensure virtual tour successfully aligns with the partner’s brand story and strategic vision
  • Work directly with partners to provide strategic guidance, explain technical functionality and communicate deadlines and needs relating to asset collection
  • Successful and efficient management of schedule, talent, locations, and location permits
  • Successful and efficient management of transportation and lodging for onsite capture
  • Successful management of the location set, including directing of screen talent, camera, art, wardrobe and other creative departments present
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and communication between internal support crews and onsite capture teams to ensure the continual growth of onsite capture crews' skills as well as ensure onsite crews remain up to date and current on all Studios capture processes
  • Serve as a liaison between onsite capture crews and internal team by facilitating clear and timely communication as projects are passed from one team to the next
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continual product innovation and creative growth, as well as internal projects and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience with video and photo content production
  • Proficient in script writing and development
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems on the fly
  • Ability to provide clear direction to partners related to creative strategy, technical implementation, project deliverables and timelines
  • Ability to have your work critiqued and critique the work of others in a productive manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate and lead discussions/meetings across partner and internal teams
  • Basic knowledge of image and video editing software
  • Proficient in directing on-camera talent
  • Strong understanding of photo and video composition
  • Strong understanding of schedule management

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or MFA in film production, directing, screenwriting, or producing strongly desired.
  • Experience working in the film and digital content industry as a producer, director, and other technical roles.
  • Experience producing commercial video and or photo productions.

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $50,000 - $64,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
