POSITION TITLE: Junior Plumbing Designer

PAY RANGE: $20-$24/ hour

General Responsibilities:

As a Junior Plumbing Designer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the design and implementation of plumbing systems for single and multifamily/hospitality construction projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure the efficient and effective installation of plumbing systems.

Significant Duties:

1. Design Support:

• Assist in the creation and development of plumbing system designs for single and multifamily/hospitality construction projects.
• Work with CAD software to draft plumbing system layouts and schematics.

• Stay updated on local and national plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ensure that all plumbing designs adhere to relevant codes and standards.

• Collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and other team members to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into overall construction plans.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address design considerations.

• Assist in selecting appropriate plumbing materials and equipment based on project specifications and requirements.

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to plumbing designs.
• Create drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents for project records.

• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that plumbing installations meet high standards.

• Conduct site visits to assess plumbing system installations and address any design-related issues.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Educational background in plumbing design, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD software for plumbing design.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
