SalaryServe Electric is looking for driven and detail-oriented JR PLC Programmers to join our Service and Controls team. The Jr PLC Programmer will apply electrical/pneumatic theory, and related knowledge to design industrial controls systems and assembly tools. The Jr PLC Programmer will be responsible for troubleshooting PLC, robotics, and various automation issues, along with programming new installations of tooling and conveyor systems and troubleshoot existing installations. The Jr PLC Programmer will have the ability to design and incorporate various controls components, while reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
Requirements:
- Minimum Associates Degree in Engineering, PLC Programming or Mechatronics preferred.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing with PLC Software experience desired.
- Knowledge of aspects of software design and coding.
- Knowledge of ladder, logic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuitry and understanding of mechanical sequencing of machinery.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner, self-starter and ability to work independently to drive project with minimal direction.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing conditions and priorities.
Salary: $15.00-$24.00/HR Based on experience
