The Junior Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of production activities within a specific value stream at our manufacturing facility.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling production within the assigned specific value stream.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure availability of necessary materials and resources.
- Aid in creating and maintaining production schedules to meet production targets.
- Monitor and report on production progress within the assigned specific value stream.
- Identify and communicate potential deviations in production plans and propose solutions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and smooth execution of production.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and production processes.
- Assist with Cycle Counting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience in production planning or related functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
Educational & Certification
- Associate degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Software Skills
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
