Job Description
Your initial reporting relationship will be directly to the Manager of Network Operations. Your general responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Day-to-day support on all network-related issues such as trouble tickets, SNMP trap alerts, customer support, and more
Tier 1 escalation engineer for network help desk inquiries
Perform customer installations including configuration and installation of routers, switches, cabling and other equipment as required
Perform building installations including configuration and installation of routers, switches, cabling and other equipment as required
Participate in network infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and service
Perform network audit, inventory, and documentation
Equipment cabling and testing of fiber and copper
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related service issues as they occur, including after-hours and weekends
Participate in rotational on-call responsibilities
Traveling to network sites for deployments, onsite support, and/or maintenance
Answering and directing general inquiries via phone, email, or other
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and not afraid of height as network equipment may be on rooftops, etc
**This position is on-site and must come into the office daily**
