Junior Maintenance Technician

Royal Destinations, a luxury property management company on 30A, is looking for a Junior Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have maintenance experience and are a team player with a great attitude, we’d like to hear from you. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and the level of care that goes into each vacation rental.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities to include:

• Change air filters in each vacation home.
• Perform trash pick-up when necessary.
• Assist the maintenance team by picking up parts and supplies as needed.
• Perform light maintenance duties, including but not limited to changing light bulbs, batteries, and turn pool heaters on and off.
• Must be organized and capable of keeping track of work orders, status updates, vendor requests, and expense receipts.
• Assist with performing maintenance inspections.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Must have:

• A valid Driver’s License
• Flexible Schedule (weekends required)
• Access to a smartphone (with the ability to download an app that will be used for obtaining work orders/updating orders while in the field)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 Year (Preferred)
• Maintenance Technician: 1 year (Preferred)

Language Skills:

• Ability to comprehend and compose instructions and correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information to guests, management, and employees of the organization

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and or move more than 75 pounds.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

• Driver's License (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
