Key Responsibilities:
- Intellectual Property (IP) Protection: Monitor and act against potential and actual IP infringements to protect the company's competitive edge.
- Trademark Management: Oversee all aspects of trademark lifecycle, including registration, maintenance, and enforcement.
- Patent Development: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and patent key technological innovations, avoiding infringement risks.
- Litigation Management: Handle litigation matters, focusing on cross-border disputes and contract enforcement.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all company operations adhere to relevant legal standards and regulations, including but not limited to FDA and EPA guidelines.
- Contract Review: Draft and review contracts across various departments, mitigating legal risks and safeguarding company interests.
- External Collaboration: Engage in external partnership activities, including investment research and venture capital initiatives.
- Product Compliance: Ensure that all products meet the regulatory requirements of target markets.
- International Trade Compliance: Navigate international trade laws and sanctions to secure the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in law or related field required; advanced law degrees preferred. Special consideration for expertise in intellectual property law, commercial law, and contract law.
- Market Sensitivity: Ability to detect legal risks in market operations with a keen sense of marketing dynamics.
- Versatile Business Engagement: Capable of engaging across various business domains such as marketing and product development.
- Initiative and Analytical Skills: Strong self-starter with the ability to think critically, manage tasks independently, and adapt to new legal and technological environments.
