Linette Dai Design is a boutique interior design firm dedicated to creating custom homes with an emphasis on quality, artistry, and everyday luxury. Our work has been included in publications including Sunset, Architectural Digest Clever, Elle Decor Spain, and featured on the covers of Luxe and Rue Magazine.
We are looking for a highly organized, driven, and creative Junior Designer with minimum 2-3 years in high-end residential experience to join our team and help create dream homes for our clients!
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time. Pay is commensurate with level of experience. Applicants must be able to meet once a week or as needed at our studio in Belmont Shore, and visit project job sites in the greater LA area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to design concepts, development, and sourcing.
- Drafts technical drawings (including floor plans, construction elevations, and custom furniture plans).
- Manages procurement, including pricing inquiries, generating client proposals, processing orders, order tracking, receiver warehouse correspondence, and coordinating deliveries.
- Produces and maintains all schedules and binders, including budget, FF&E, construction specification, order tracking, etc.
- Attends job site meetings, takes notes, measurements when required, and follows through on tasks to completion.
- Reviews shop drawings and other construction documents for accuracy, redlining.
- Assists Principal Designer with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Has 2-3 years of experience in high-end residential furnishing and construction projects.
- Takes proactive initiative, is able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Is resourceful, keeps up to date on the current trends of the industry, and is familiar with the construction process.
- Maintains a great attitude in high pressure situations and troubleshoots with effective solutions.
- Possesses excellent time management skills, is able to prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Has a strong technical background and is experienced in millwork details and custom furniture fabrication.
- Has superb professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Is service-oriented and dedicated to the luxury concierge experience of our clients.
- Is highly proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suites.
- Is proficient in Google Workspace, Dropbox, Canva, iWork, and Sketchup and/or is willing and able to self-teach and quickly pick up other technology-related programs easily as needed.
- Has a degree in Interior Design or Architecture (not required, but preferred).
- Owns reliable transportation.
