Join our team and apply your graphic design talents in a high visibility role to promote Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. You will be working in an office within Headquarters, Department of the Army at the Pentagon. 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and publish commercial quality graphic presentations in print, projection, video, and all forms of web-enabled social media.
  • Create visual text and imagery concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
  • Produce sketches, designs, and copy layouts by utilizing a variety of media.
  • Consult with management, users and clients to determine their needs.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance. 
  • 10 years' experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field. 
  • Understanding of Army Acquisition strategic communication objectives.
  • Knowledge of Army branding and style guides.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Apple, Adobe and other software editing tools.
  • Proficiency using PC and Mac hardware and the use of technical peripherals such as scanners, large format printers, digital photography and digital video.
  • Proficiency in fabrication of graphics products, matting, mounting and framing.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Additional desired experience & skills:

  • Experience working with high level Army or DOD customers is strongly preferred.
