Highlight is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to support a team providing disaster management, social services recovery and data analytic support for a federal civilian customer.
Responsibilities
- Perform performing various GIS-related tasks and support functions
- Use GIS software (ESRI GIS products preferred) to manipulate geographic data for a government customer, producing daily and weekly outputs
- Collect, analyze and interprets geospatial data
- Experience developing high quality mapping products to support recovery operations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information science or related discipline
- 1 year related experience
- Proficient in GIS software, ESRI GIS preferred
- Experience supporting recovery operations
- Prior FEMA experience preferred
