Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for producing financial statements for various insurance agencies. The right candidate collaborates well among all levels of leadership, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills. Will frequently communicate with other analysts and FP&A Manager to provide and improve reporting and present agency financial analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Run, improve, and consolidate reports and provide trends for agency reporting
• Contribute to the creation, reporting, and maintenance of operating plans, annual agency
budgets, quarterly agency forecasts, monthly agency reports, and overall data accuracy
• Forecast, analyze, and provide proactive business insights into agency performance
• Collaborate within the FP&A team to provide process improvements and efficiencies
• Partner with accounting and other departments to ensure that expenses are recorded accurately
• Leverage and improve current systems to increase productivity and accuracy of the entire
FP&A team
• Ad-hoc analysis as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 2+ years of progressive experience in FP&A roles
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
• Experience with Adaptive preferred
• Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of
precision
• Insurance experience a plus
• Open and clear communicator
