Basic Purpose of Position:

The primary role of this position is clear materials shortages that are escalated at each of our site locations working closely with the site Supply Chain & Operations team.

Position:Junior Electronics Buyer- Part of the Corporate Supply Chain Team

Location: Brooksville, FL (on-site position)

What a Day Looks Like:

• Ability to use search engines to find materials on open Market EMS component availability using eDI search tools such as CalcuQuote, QuoteWin, rustedparts.com, and other tools.
• Ability to lead routine customer (internal/external) and supplier cadence calls.
• Ability to track material shortage status and report to various departments progress to clear material shortages.
• Ability to multi-task working with various sites to clear gap in material supply chain that support various customers’ orders.

Other Responsibilities:

• Special projects and duties as required.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED (Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement background preferred).
• Previous experience working with an Electronics Manufacturing company.
• Understanding of EMS Component OEM Commodity Level component supply chain with 1+ years’ experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) to manage supplier and internal customers.
• Ability to organize and lead group cadence calls with internal stakeholders at multiple sites, OEM Component manufacture(s), EMS component Distributor(s), and Customers.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• High energy, don't take No for an answer attitude.
• Customer service experience.
• Electronics COTs (Catalogue off-the-shelf) working with OCMs and Distribution partners experience.
• Problem solver in finding parts needed and push to obtain best delivery dates on needed material.
• Experience with Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Salary Description

$50,000-$65,000/Annually based on Electronics Manufacturing purchasing experience using Electronics eDI Search tools and Electronics Commodity knowledge.
