Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Jr. Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic MEP team in our Syosset, LI Office. We currently provide the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.
Responsibilities- Assist in designing, analyzing, and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with mid and senior engineers to create electrical plans, specifications, and calculations.
- Producing contract drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct field visits to record existing conditions, assess project progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations to design solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Electrical Engineering power design.
- Providing engineering support for senior staff.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 0 to 2 years of experience. Recent college graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong Understanding of electrical systems and codes
- Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft products, and electrical design tools.
- Capability to work on multiple projects.
- Have an eagerness to learn and grow within the field of Electrical Engineering.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Any relevant internships is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from project manager and produce the expected results.
- Have the ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
