Part of the Firewall Automation Group Automating requests for new firewalls – expanding and automating other places within the network space Working with lots of different data – Looking for someone to suggest new/better ways to work with the data uplift it's network security platform automation. You help do things like: Analyzing firewall and associated network data in order to drive user / customer facing business decisions, identification of opportunities for enhancement, and data modernization for delivery automation. Use data analysis techniques to develop insights that lead to new recommendations presented to management Supports advanced analytics using a limited assortment of modeling methods, algorithms and techniques (predictive modeling, text mining, statistical forecasting and analysis, optimization, and simulation modeling) Supports quantitative and statistical analysis of large moderately complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance Utilizes programming skills to build prototype solutions and develop production-ready analytical applications Clean data from diverse data sources Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field, or equivalent experience Working knowledge of statistical software languages, minimally Python Working knowledge of querying languages, notably SQL Familiarity with relational database concepts Basic knowledge of practical use of statistics
