About Your New Position
T2S Solutions is seeking to hire a Junior Cyber Engineer located in APG, MD to provide support in various aspects of cybersecurity, including network security, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. Working closely with experienced professionals to analyze and mitigate security risks, participate in security audits, and assist in implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify and mitigate emerging threats. How You Will Impact T2S

• Seeking a skilled professional proficient in implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodologies within cybersecurity contexts. Must have proficiency in integrating RMF principles to mitigate cyber threats and ensure robust security postures for organizational asset
• Utilize e-MASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service), MS Office, ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution), and APMS (Asset, Policy, and Compliance Management System)
• IT Helpdesk: Provide frontline technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues via phone, email, or in-person to ensure timely resolution. Document and track all reported incidents and service requests, utilizing a ticketing system to prioritize and escalate issues as necessary to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Test web applications, monitor inbound security data, and responding to security events as needed
• Assess network security for vulnerabilities, research threats, and debug malicious software.
• Assist with the design and implementation of security solutions
• Provide cybersecurity support working both independently as well as collectively, to proactively Identify security issues and implement effective solutions
• Effectively prioritize in order to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
• Communicate effectively to convey technical information to non-technical management and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel periodically to support various cybersecurity requirements
• Navigate NIST 800-53 rev 5, researching threats, and assisting with penetration testing
• Travel %: Up to 10%

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, information systems, or related with 1-3 years of experience
• Experience with e-MASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service), office suite, ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution), and APMS (Asset, Policy, and Compliance Management System)
• Strong ability to proactively identify security issues, and implement solutions
• Excellent prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical staff and stakeholders
• Must be able to work in an office environment and be willing to travel periodically to support cybersecurity requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD issued government security clearance
• Familiarity with NIST 800-161
• Certifications related to position (CEH, CCNA, CompTIA A+ / Security+, or related) preferred
