Junior Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary:

H2 is seeking a Junior CyberSecurity Analyst to support our government client onboard the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in Las Cruces, NM. This position will directly support Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Automated Information System Authorization.

The Junior CyberSecurity Analyst responsibilities will include:

• Support the government with implementing RMF.

• Assist with providing technical details for Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists, and vulnerability management and analysis. Perform risk analysis of resources, controls, vulnerabilities, threats, and the impact of losing systems’ capabilities on the mission objective, facilitate decisions to implement security countermeasures or mitigate risk.

• Assist GOV POC with Implementation of Government mandated security orders (i.e. OPORDs, FRAGOs, CTOs, SARs, TOs, Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP), etc

• Remediate ACAS vulnerabilities received from Government G6 Scan Team

• Implement and Manage Endpoint Security Services (ESS). Utilize government tools for virus detection/prevention.

• Provide or assist with documentation such as, but not limited to, SOP’s, TTPs, lessons learned, guidance, tutorials, and instruction.

Requirements

Education, Knowledge and Skills Required:

• EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of experience supporting Cyber/IA activities.

• CLEARANCE: An interim Secret clearance is required at hire date.

• CERTIFICATION: IAT Level II Certification – CompTIA Security+

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer or Cyber. (Experience in lieu of degree will be considered)

• KNOWLEDGE:
• Working knowledge of COTS software/hardware, and network products, including Windows OS, MS Office, Remedy, etc.

• Working knowledge of WEB filter management tools, such as WebSense.

• Working knowledge of IDS management tools, SourceFire.

• Working knowledge of IAVA tools, such as ACAS, Symantec Endpoint, WSUS, HBSS and Fluke air Check.

• Working knowledge of Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Active Directory.

• Working knowledge of AR 25‐2 and associated DA PAMs, DoDI 8510.01, and all local policies, guidance, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
