Description: CRG is seeking a full-time Educational Coordinator to assist with developing and maturing the Arlington National Cemetery’s (ANC’s) educational program. This includes tasks such as assisting in the development of new educational modules that are grounded in best instructional design practices and tailored to a range of audiences, converting module content to the Canvas Learning Management System for educators and students, and developing and refining educational modules for ANC’s STQRY app.
Location: Arlington, VA
Background Check/Clearance: National Agency Check with Local Agency Credit Check (NACLC) will be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (or equivalent field).
- 4+ years of curriculum development and writing experience with demonstrated experience designing and developing materials and content. Direct experience working in an Army, DoD, ANC, or other Military context (including contract positions) is preferred.
- Experience developing educational programs similar to the ANC’s requirements.
- Knowledge of learning theory and practice/techniques, knowledge of assessment methods and formats, and ability to implement various evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and support systems such as collaborative learning software, learning management systems, and authoring tools. Direct experience with Canvas Learning Management System and STQRY app development and implementation is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience understanding the Military community, travel and tourism, military protocol, ceremonies and special events, and historical sites.
- Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, strategic, and communications skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a team.
- Strong computer skills, including initialization, operation of Microsoft Word processing, spreadsheets, and graphic programs, performance of user maintenance in a Windows environment, fluency with email and internet environments is required.
