Junior Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Junior Business Analystto join the Fixed Income team in Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL or one of our other office locations.
The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate and driven, have excellent people skills and will seek to engage and collaborate with others on the team and across the business. This individual will be empowered to bring their own ideas and initiatives which will have real impact, including optimization of communication, productivity, user competency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:

• Support the Business Analyst in the day-to-day management of accounts and contacts, including the process to open, review and approve new accounts
• Support and proactively engage with FI Sales & Trading representatives and serve as main point of contact for new hires to train them on internal systems
• Provide first-level support to teams across the department including user administration, issue identification and issue resolution
• Collaborate with Technology to further enhance CRM and other databases, including running queries
• Assist in development of training materials and support engaging in-person and virtual training
• Maintain and cross-check coverage lists, conference attendee lists, and other account lists against the CRM database
• Assist in the creation of user documentation and maintain ongoing system change documentation
• Other projects as needed

Skills and Experience:

• College degree or equivalent practical experience of 1 to 2 years
• Interest in engaging with representatives and providing a high-level of support to the business
• Savvy with Microsoft Excel including manipulating data and running reports and competency with other Microsoft Office products and related business and communication tools
• Robust organizational skillset to successfully manage large sets of data and multiple users
• Commitment to excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work in a high-speed, highly analytical environment and apply problem-solving skills
• Interest and ability to work with autonomy while serving as an integral partner on a collaborative team
