Junior Architect

We are seeking a full time Junior Architect to join our team for long term. The ideal candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and be flexible to support the team in any project phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop architectural drawings and documents.
* Preparing physical models, 2D and 3D drawing and models using architectural computer software to illustrate a project design concept.
* Collaborate with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation meet project expectations.
* Preparing and coordinating design development and construction documents.
* General drafting and detailing.
* Preparing presentation materials
* Coordination with contractors, engineers and vendors.
* Involvement in multiple projects at any time.
* Developing design schemes and making feasibility studies.
* Evaluate, and integrate construction and engineering systems with program, code and context parameters.

REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects.
* Highly creative and organized.
* Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
* Must have good communication skills and ability to work individually and within a team.
* Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, be resourceful, and able to work under deadlines.
* Get along well with others, have a good sense of humor and have the maturity to receive constructive criticism during the creative process.
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related design field.
