Independent Artist Group (IAG) was born upon the merger of Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) and Artist Group International (IAG) in the summer of 2023. What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Junior Agent, Digital Talent to join our Strategic Marketing and Brand Partnership division to help identify new business verticals and secure sponsorship opportunities for IAG’s diverse roster of digital content creators. Successful candidates must have three or more years of industry experience in digital-forward and influencer-focused partnerships and will preferably come with a personal book of business that can be paired with the agency’s existing clients. This individual considers themselves an expert in all things social media-driven, and recognizes the value that comes with operating within the environment of a full-service talent agency.

An ideal candidate must be a strong multitasker who is detail-oriented and has great follow through, as they will be tasked with end-to-end deal execution for client partnerships. Initiative and collaboration are two of the core elements of this position's responsibilities - you must be able to work independently and as a part of the larger department team, with a willingness to jump in on projects of all sizes.

Especially seeking a personable and focused individual who has the ability to work on tight timelines, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines. A background in advertising, influencer marketing, PR, or brand management is imperative, as candidates must be able to service a roster of digital creators across multiple verticals (lifestyle, family, music, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous Industry Experience: 3 - 5 years with an emphasis in digital endorsements/brand marketing preferred
• Strong work ethic with a great attitude; calm and organized under pressure
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently with little supervision
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail (including spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.)
• Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize
• Knowledge of social media trends and a strong understanding of both existing and emerging social platforms
• Ability to manage a full roster of Digital Talent and identity new talent pursuits
• Proactively pitch opportunities to brands based on talent needs
• Keeps informed of industry trends, events and deals with an eye for exploring opportunities to develop existing clients’ business
• Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and buyers
• Fluent in both organic influencer and paid channel strategies
• Strong listening, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Understands key elements of partnership agreements
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Suite (Docs, Pages, etc.); Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop experience a plus

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience at a talent/brand agency or experience in brand marketing
