Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients.
- Prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements for clients
- Interact with payroll team to ensure proper processes, ensuring accurate and timely
payment to clients' employees
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Apply technical accounting principles to complex transactions and financial reporting
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper recording of financial transactions
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of industry trends and
regulations
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality public accounting services
- Handle bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
- Onboard new accounting clients and maintain client relationships
Skills:
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
- Experience in payroll management and compliance
- Ability to perform accurate balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Expertise in technical accounting principles and practices
- Excellent financial acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends and regulations
- Prior experience in public accounting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with a wide range of financial services, including tax planning, budgeting, and investment advice
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial expertise and guidance to clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting financial analysis, preparing financial statements, managing payroll processes, performing balance sheet reconciliations, applying technical accounting principles, maintaining general ledger accounts, demonstrating strong financial acumen, collaborating with clients and colleagues in public accounting services, as well as the opportunity to learn other financial services such as tax planning and strategy. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in financial analysis, financial statement preparation, payroll management, balance sheet reconciliation, technical accounting, general ledger accounting, financial acumen, public accounting, and financial services.
