Our Client is looking for a tenacious, inquisitive, switched-on Trainee Account Manager to join their friendly, hard-working team.

About the Role:

As a Junior Account Manager, you'll be an integral part of our client's dynamic sales team. No prior experience is required, as they provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the role. You will work closely with experienced Account Managers, learning the ropes and gaining valuable insights into managing both customer and client relationships and driving business growth.

As a Junior Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the company's continued success whilst achieving personal career goals.

Responsibilities:

• Learn about the client's products/services and the unique value the client offers
• Learn how to assist senior Account Managers day-to-day
• Assist with customer acquisitions and nurturing of customer relations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer and client needs are met
• Participate in sales meetings and client presentations
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client value
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in management, marketing, sales or equivalent work experience is a bonus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive and self-driven with a passion for learning
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Team player with a positive attitude and a desire to contribute to the team's success

This is NOT a remote position, so you'll also need to be able to commute to our Birmingham, AL office daily.
