Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Testing Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Day To Day Work Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for the verification of infrastructure and application changes to the information system under direction and collaboration with technical and program management staff. These changes may include application graphical user interfaces, application workflow, component integration, database, operating system, and interfaces.
- Develop Test Plans in support of regression testing, new feature and functionality testing, and User Acceptance Testing. The Application Tester performs Post-Production Checkout for the information system following any maintenance or application release. These activities may require off-hour or weekend support.
- Coordinate with management and the customer in the execution of User Acceptance Testing efforts.
- Perform some requirements traceability activities in the performance of testing duties and fully documents and updates all test cases used for regression testing and for new feature/functionality testing.
- Work independently on discrete information system change tasks and of working with a team of testers on larger information system changes.
- Communicate and present complex technical issues in oral or written form with assurance and confidence.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years of experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Experience in web-based application and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) integration testing preferred.
- Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI) and/or FIPS 201 standards highly desired.
- Weekend and off-hours work may be required. Target Salary Range
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
